MINUTES OF SDDTA ANNUAL MEETING JANUARY 18, 2008
Next meeting is a General board meeting March 11, 2008, 7pm in the BTC Clubhouse

I.                   CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 5:35pm by President Anne Podney. Members present were: Roberto Ancira, Robert Bacon, Mike Bauer, Fred Circo, Don Daniels, Geoff Griffin, Steve Kappes, William Kellogg, Sandie Kindred, Roz King, Barbara Kingston, Becky Kuba, Jim Lackritz, Anne Podney, Ben Press, Robin Rodger, Leslie Waite and Fran Wakefield. 

II.                MINUTES: It was MSP to accept the December minutes as corrected by e-mail prior to this meeting. The correction listed the specific names and recommendations for officer positions as required by the Bylaws.

III.             PRESIDENTS REPORT: Anne thanked fellow Directors for support during her tenure as President.

IV.              TREASURER’S REPORT: It was MSP to accept the Treasurer’s Report which was distributed to Directors via
e-mail. Anne mentioned that Mike would be working on the budget and request from Committees for expenditures should be sent to Mike ASAP.

V.                 COMMITTEE REPORTS:

A.        Community Tennis: Sandy reported there would be a recruitment/training session for instructors for the Drop-in Tennis program.

B.         Newsletter: Leslie reported that the deadline is February 4^th. Articles should be sent to Jeff A. in the office.

C.        Tournament Evaluations: The committee will be recommending that a specific tournament be placed on an official warning. Details will be discussed at the March Meeting.

D.        Nominations: All nominated Directors and Officers were elected by majority vote of members Clubs and organizations present.
