ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET
Every January the District holds it's annual awards dinner and banquet at the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club to honor those individuals, clubs and tournaments that made a significant contribution to San Diego tennis throughout the year. Unfortunately, due to COVID19 restrictions, the 2021 ceremony will not be held.
WOUNDED WARRIOR TENNIS PROGRAMS
Our Wounded Warrior Tennis Program uses tennis as a means of rehabilitation for service members and veterans who have become wounded, ill, or injured. It is aligned with Naval Medical Center San Diego's Wounded, Ill, and Injured Wellness Program, which is "designed to meet the physical, social, emotional and cognitive needs of injured troops. Participation in activities provides the tools needed to reintegrate back into the community, enhance their quality of life, and promote living a fit and healthy lifestyle."
