As we transition into the summer months, USTA is encouraging everyone to maintain the momentum generated during National Tennis Month in May. As we look forward to the upcoming US Open later this year, now is a perfect time to recognize and celebrate the incredible coaches who are making a significant difference in the San Diego world of tennis.

Recognizing Impactful Coaches

USTA is on the lookout for coaches across the country who are making a meaningful impact through their work. Whether they are running summer camps, creating opportunities for first-time players, or have dedicated decades to the sport, USTA wants to hear their stories. The aim is to build a steady pipeline of inspiring coach narratives that can be featured throughout the year.

Ongoing Celebrations in Southern California

In Southern California, USTA has already been celebrating coaches year-round through articles and the "Dear Coaches" series, with a more significant spotlight during National Coaches Month. This initiative from USTA National is an additional effort to recognize the invaluable contributions of our local coaches.

How to Submit Nominations

To facilitate this process, Coyne PR, which collaborates with USTA on coaching storytelling, has created two quick submission options for gathering information on local coaching heroes. You can choose between:

• Long Version - For those who have more time to provide detailed information.

• Short Version - A quick form that takes about 60 seconds to complete.

All submissions will go directly to the Coyne team, who will follow up if any additional information is needed.
